Stock Market: Introduction

Posted By On 2/08/2008 10:39:00 PM Under
1. Investing in stock market is always interesting challenging and rewarding. Interesting, because the stock market is dynamic, there is never a dull moment. Challenging, because it is uncertain. The only certainty is its uncertainty of reward, because it is risky. Risks and rewards go together.

2. There is no magic formula that will always work. An intelligent investor should improvise, learn from successes and set backs, and move forward. Don’t be carried away by the stock market fads, they come and go. Don’t allow yourself to be fooled by the big bulls; they also come and go. Don’t believe in financial wizards; after a while they may turn into financial lizards. One’s own knowledge and expense are perhaps the best bets in this game. Investing in stocks is a serious business. One must always remember that the rewards are proportionate to the risks one is able and willing to take. One has to learn this business, with patience and perseverance. After you have learnt the basics, do not behave in your infallibility. Arrogance is never a virtue in stock market.
