Importance of Volatility in Market for a Trader

People are unnecessarily perturbed with the volatility in the market as volatility helps the traders to make money in the market.

As a strategy for the traders look for the stocks with good amount of volatility in the stock. If you are a seasoned trader one can consider trading in FTSE100 or Nasdaq stock like Google or US indexes are a good example.

In the Indian context one cna trade in group A stocks and one must study the ATR i.e. the average true range and one will know that how much stock is likely to make a move in the day. Volatility is not an enemy and is a friend if used appropriately.
