One can easily decide to either go long or short by just following the 10 SMA and 30 EMA and a clear understanding of the same will let a person know that whether one should go for the long trade or for a short trade. Just follow the below guidelines and one will be on the path of making money from the stock market.

If the 10 SMA is above the 30 EMA, you should be focusing on long positions only.

If the 10 SMA is below the 30 EMA, you should be focusing on short positions only.
